Medic Injured in Las Vegas Ambulance Accident on Cheyenne Avenue and Clayton Street

The driver of the Tacoma was treated for minor injuries at UMC Trauma and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Las Vegas, NV. – A medic was injured in an ambulance collision involving a suspected DUI driver in North Las Vegas on Sunday night, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.

The crash happened on Cheyenne Avenue and Clayton Street on Sunday, January 19.

According to police, an AMR ambulance was traveling northbound on Clayton Street when it collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling eastbound on Cheyenne Avenue after the pickup failed to stop for a red light.

The Toyota then rolled and collided with a westbound Chevy Trax.

The driver of the Tacoma was treated for minor injuries at UMC Trauma and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

A medic and at least one other party involved in the accident sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are conducting an investigation into the collision.
