The 60-year-old Haines City woman driving the Sentra was killed in the accident
Winter Haven, CA. – A 60-year-old woman was killed in a car crash on Thursday morning in Winter Haven.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Cypress Gardens Boulevard near the U.S. Highway 27 intersection.
A Jeep reportedly hydroplaned, crossed over the raised center median, and collided head-on with a westbound Nissan Sentra, driven by the 60-year-old woman.
The impact of the collision caused the Sentra to rotate and was hit by an Audi driven by a 58-year-old Winter Haven man.
The Jeep rolled onto its side after the collision.

The drivers of the Audi and the Jeep had minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
