The Winter Springs man was taken to hospital where he later died
Seminole County, FL. – A 74-year-old Winter Springs man was killed in a car crash on Wednesday night in Seminole County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:20 p.m. on Red Bug Lake Road near State Road 417.
The man was driving a Chevy Equinox westbound on Red Bug Lake Road when he reportedly ran a red light and collided with a 2015 Acura MDX that was making a left turn onto Red Bug Lake Road.
The Winter Springs man was taken to hospital where he later died.
The 19-year-old Oviedo woman driving the Acura was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
