Las Vegas, TX – A driver was injured after a traffic collision early Friday morning at an intersection in West Valley.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the accident before just after 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
According to a preliminary investigation, two vehicles collided in the area, causing one of the cars to crash into a nearby bus stop, before catching fire.
The driver of one of the cars suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
No pedestrians were injured, and no one was at the bus stop, police said.
The intersection reopened around 4:30 a.m.
Additional details about what caused the crash were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
