Las Vegas – A motorcyclist, identified as 77-year-old Efrem Evans of North Las Vegas, has died from injuries sustained when he was hit by an SUV during the morning rush hour for workers near Strip casinos on Tuesday last week.

Metropolitan Police Department said Evans riding his 1990 Honda CBR600 motorcycle northbound on Frank Sinatra Drive near Caesars Service Drive on a green light when a 2025 Hyundai Tucson turned left against a red signal and collided with the motorcycle,
Reportedly, Evans tried to avoid colliding with the vehicle, but lost control and the motorcycle made contact with the rear of the Hyundai Tucson.
The motorcycle overturned following the incident.
The Clark County coroner’s office said Evans was transported to University Medical Center where he died of multiple blunt force injuries on Thursday.
Hyundai driver stopped and remained at the scene, police said, adding that the driver showed no signs of impairment.
No additional information was provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
