Las Vegas, NV – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a serious injury two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon.
The wreck was reported at around 3:45 p.m. January 8 at Cheyenne Avenue and Gentle Breeze Street near North Rainbow Boulevard.
Reportedly, a 73-year-old Las Vegas man was driving an eastbound sedan on Cheyenne Avenue when for unknown reasons he sideswiped a delivery van and struck a traffic control reader board, before hitting a wall.
The male Las Vegas motorist was transported to Mountain View Hospital in critical condition.
The police said the van’s driver was also hospitalized, but their condition was unknown.
Additional information about the collision was not provided.
The mishap remains under investigation.
