MERRILLVILLE, IN (November 07, 2022)–Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys will be giving out 750 Thanksgiving meals just in time for the holiday on Friday, November 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dean & Barbara White Community Center (6600 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410). Due to a turkey shortage, recipients will receive a $20 gift card to purchase a turkey along with a bag full of side fixings to complete a meal. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided. All gift cards, meal bags, snacks, and refreshments are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Despite the turkey shortage and increased food costs, our team was determined to continue with tradition by hosting our annual Thanksgiving Giveaway. Our hope is that by helping to offset some of the costs, families who may otherwise go without will have something to look forward to sharing with loved ones. We are also thankful for our friends at the Town of Merrillville and Strack & Van Til whose assistance was essential in making this event possible,” shared Glen Lerner, Esq.
Meal bags are given out ONE (1) per family. Recipients must be 18 years of age or older. No proof of residence required. Questions?
