McHenry County, IL – Two men were injured Monday morning in a semi-truck accident in unincorporated Woodstock in McHenry County, according to the authorities.
The accident happened around 10:00 a.m. on June 23, near the intersection of Route 14 and Bunker Hill Road.
Authorities said the accident involved a car and a semi-truck.
The car overturned on its roof after the collision, trapping the driver inside. The driver was extricated and airlifted to Javon Bea Hospital Riverside in Rockford in serious condition.
The semi-truck driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
No other details were available.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
