Driver Hits, Injures and Kills Bicyclists in Tucson

A group of about 10 vacationing bicyclists’ trip came to an abrupt and tragic end when a driver hit five of them at a Tucson stop light.  Two cyclists died, one was critically injured, and two others experienced non life-threatening injuries.

March Tucson Bike AccidentThe driver, 28-year-old Brian Lynch, was arrested at the scene. He currently faces the five following criminal charges:

  1. Driving under the influence.
  2. Two counts of manslaughter
  3. Two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
  4. One count of aggravated assault with serious injury
  5. Criminal damage.
