Phoenix, Arizona (April 8, 2018) – One person died, and another injured in a two-vehicle accident in Phoenix Saturday morning. The deadly crash took place at around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 near 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
According to the Phoenix police, a car was heading southbound on 75th Avenue when they crashed with a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer was turning left into a private drive. The passenger in the car declared deceased at the site of the incident while the driver of the vehicle ended up transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi-trailer did not experience injuries and remained on the scene. The car crash 75th Avenue shut down the road while police investigated the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
