1 Dead, 2 Injured in West Phoenix Crash

Phoenix, AZ (June 10, 2018) – One person is dead and two others sustained serious injuries in a West Phoenix Crash.

Three people suffered injuries during the crash, according to a fire spokesman. Paramedics transported the driver of a red sedan, a 35 year-old woman, to the hospital in critical condition. They also transported a passenger in a grey car, a 27 year-old man, to the hospital as well. Paramedics treated a third woman for injuries but she did not need to be hospitalized.

The fourth victim, a man in his 40s, unfortunately died due to his injuries. Officials pronounced him dead at the scene.

The red sedan failed to stop at a right light and struck the grey vehicle, according to a Phoenix police spokeswoman.

The crash occurred at the intersection of 43rd Ave and McDowell Road.

The investigation is still ongoing.
