Tucson, AZ. – A 56-year-old woman driver succumbed to her injuries following a three-vehicle crash that occurred on June 17 in Tucson.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash happened near North Shadow Bluff Drive and East Orange Grove Road.
The woman was driving an SUV in stop-and-go traffic when she reportedly failed to control her speed and struck the rear of a sedan.
The impact pushed the sedan into a second SUV.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on June 18.
The SUV driver had been cited for failure to control the speed.
