Sparks, NV. – Two people were injured in a suspected DUI crash on Friday morning in Sparks.
According to the Sparks Police Department, the accident happened on East Prater Way just east of Stanford Way and Teel Street at around 1 a.m.
The driver of a red truck was speeding when he struck several trash cans along the street and crashed into a home which caught fire.
The occupants of the truck were removed, and the home was evacuated.
The driver and the passenger of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken to the local hospital.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Jail on multiple charges including DUI, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane.
