3 Hurt After Semi-Truck Spills Load on Interstate 95 near Palm Bay

Palm Bay, FL.- Three people were injured following an accident involving debris from a semi truck Thursday morning near Palm Bay, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred on August 13 on southbound Interstate 95 near mile marker 173.

Troopers said an unsecured load of wire came off the semi truck and spilled across the interstate.

Vehicles traveling southbound encountered the debris in the roadway, resulting in an accident that left three people injured.

The right lane of southbound Interstate 95 was blocked following the accident while emergency crews responded to the scene and worked to clear the wire and other debris from the roadway.

The accident and spilled material caused traffic delays during the morning commute.

Authorities have not released additional information about the three people who were injured or the severity of their injuries.
