Henderson, NV.- Two people were injured following a three vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Henderson, according to Henderson police.
The accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. on August 19 at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Wigwam Avenue.
Police said three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved in the accident.
Two people suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the identities of the injured people or the severity of their injuries.
Northbound Eastern Avenue was closed at Wigwam Avenue while emergency crews assisted those involved and worked to clear the accident scene.
Drivers were advised to avoid the affected portion of the roadway while the closure remained in place.
