Troopers said a 57 year old Tampa motorcyclist was killed and his 63 year old passenger was seriously injured following an accident with an SUV Sunday in Brooksville.
Brooksville, FL.- One person was killed and another was seriously injured following a motorcycle accident Sunday in Brooksville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on August 9 at the intersection of State Road 50 and County Road 581.
Troopers said a Jeep Commander entered the intersection against a red traffic signal while a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was crossing.
The Jeep and motorcycle collided in the intersection.
The 57 year old Tampa motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
His passenger, a 63 year old woman, was also transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
