Yuma County, AZ – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at a Yuma County intersection, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred around 2:05 p.m. June 21, at W. County 14th Street and S. Somerton Avenue.
Authorities said a white 2014 Chevy Silverado was traveling northbound on S. Somerton Avenue through the intersection while a U.S. Border Patrol truck was traveling westbound.
The patrol truck failed to stop at a red light at the intersection and hit the Silverado.
The truck rolled over after the collision and hit a traffic light post, before coming to a stop.
Both drivers were taken to Onvida Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
