This is the third year that Lerner and Rowe has joined efforts with Mix 96.9 and the Children First Academy to assist underprivileged children and at risk youth raise school supplies and essential daily living items, such as clothes, food and supplies for the nursing office.

“Thank you Kevin for your sponsorship for the 3rd year! The organization (Children First Academy) is growing and they have been able to secure a new 70,000 square foot location and will be breaking ground next week,“ said Liz Walker, Clear Channel Media & Entertainment.

Children First Academy strives to serve the whole child by fostering strength, providing hope and facilitating self-determination. Their academy has approximately 300 students, grades K-8, attending school on their grounds. Children First Academy works to provide a stable environment where each student may also receive daily care and attention that so many homeless and low socioeconomic children lack.
