Authorities said a firefighter was injured following a business fire Friday night at Moon Valley Nursery in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.
Las Vegas, NV.- One firefighter was injured following a business fire Friday night in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.
The fire occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on August 21 at Moon Valley Nursery on Eastern Avenue near the 215 Southern Beltway.
Emergency crews responded to the business and found smoke coming from the roof of the building.
Firefighters searched the building to make sure no employees, customers, or other civilians remained inside.
Crews worked to extinguish the fire, and the blaze was later brought under control.
Authorities said no civilians required medical treatment or transportation as a result of the fire.
One firefighter suffered a non life threatening injury and was transported for medical treatment.
The incident also resulted in traffic restrictions in the area while firefighters and other emergency personnel worked at the scene.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the injured firefighter’s condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
