2 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident on IL 130 in Champaign County

Champaign County, IL.- Two people were injured following a multi vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Champaign County, according to Illinois State Police.

The accident occurred around 3:18 p.m. on August 21 on IL 130 near County Road 1100 N between Urbana and Philo.

Troopers said multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved in the accident.

Two people suffered injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not released additional information regarding the conditions or identities of the two people who were hospitalized.

The exact number and types of vehicles involved in the collision have also not been released.

IL 130 was closed while emergency personnel assisted those involved and worked to clear the accident scene.
