Authorities said a woman was killed following a three vehicle accident Wednesday evening on Madison Avenue on the south side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis, IN.- A woman was killed following a three vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Indianapolis.
The accident occurred on August 19 in the 7600 block of Madison Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found three vehicles involved in the collision.
The woman suffered critical injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The identity of the woman who died has not been released.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding injuries to anyone else involved in the collision.
Madison Avenue was closed in both directions between East Stop 10 Road and Brewer Drive while emergency crews responded and investigators examined the accident scene.
