The accident occurred on July 18 at the intersection of East Coral Road and South Union Road.
Emergency crews responded after receiving reports that one driver was trapped inside a vehicle.
Preliminary information indicates the collision involved a box truck and a minivan.
Multiple ambulances were requested to the scene as firefighters worked to free the trapped driver.
Authorities said children were believed to be traveling in one of the vehicles, but the number of occupants and the extent of their injuries have not been confirmed.
