Indianapolis, IN. – A pedestrian in a wheelchair was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of East Raymond Street and Shelby Street at around 10 p.m.
A white pickup struck a pedestrian who was in the median of the road.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver fled the scene and was yet to be located.
