Police said the mother and daughter were stopped on Hazelbrook Road and were waiting to drive into Highway 99W when another driver crashed into them.

Tualatin, OR. – A mother and an 8-year-old daughter were injured after a traffic collision on Friday afternoon in Tualatin, according to the Tualatin Police Department.
The accident happened a while before 4:00 p.m. on May 15 on Hazelbrook Road and Highway 99W.
Police said the mother and daughter were stopped on Hazelbrook Road and were waiting to drive into Highway 99W when another driver crashed into them.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews responded to the crash site. The woman, a King City resident, was extricated from the car. The two were taken to OHSU Hospital.
The woman sustained more severe injuries including a broken femur, fibula, tibia and pelvis and she underwent four surgeries.
The daughter sustained a broken humerus in her upper right arm and is wearing a cast.
The other driver is facing pending charges, according to the Tualatin police.
An investigation is underway.
