Portland, OR – One person was killed Sunday night in a pedestrian accident in southeast Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on August 2 at the intersection of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Ash Street.
Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.
The victim was taken to the hospital where they later died. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
