A 35-year-old female passenger was also taken to hospital in critical condition

Chicago, IL. – Two men were killed in a car accident that left a woman critically injured early Sunday morning in Chicago’s West Side.
According to Chicago police, the accident happened around 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Central Avenue.
A 22-year-old man was driving a dark-colored sedan southbound on Central Avenue at a high rate of speed when he was struck by another dark-colored sedan whose driver, a 36-year-old male driver, disregarded a red light at Central Avenue.
A beige minivan driven by a 45-year-old man was hit by one of the sedans.
Both sedans came to rest in the yards of two separate residences.
The 36-year-old suffered severe injuries in the accident and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he died.
The 22-year-old driver was taken to Stroger, where he also died.
A 35-year-old female passenger was also taken to hospital in critical condition.
The minivan driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
