The driver remained at the scene and was arrested for reckless driving

Las Vegas, NV. – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 10:47 p.m. in the area of North Nellis Boulevard and Kell Lane, just south of E Lake Mead Boulevard.
A pedestrian was walking across Nellis at the intersection and was struck by a 2006 Honda Civic Si heading north on Nellis.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment. He was later arrested for reckless driving.
The LVMPD Collision Investigations Section is investigating the accident.
