A pickup truck was traveling west on SR 24 when it veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a school bus

Otter Creek, FL. – Two people were killed in a collision involving a school bus on Wednesday morning in Otter Creek.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6 a.m. near the intersection of US Highway 19 and State Road 24.
A pickup truck was traveling west on SR 24 when it veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a school bus.
A 76-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman, both from Otter Creek, were inside the truck and were killed in the accident.
The bus driver was treated for minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
