Brayan Wilches, Diana Nino, and Nancy Sanchez Killed in Margate Chain Reaction at Rock Island Road and Royal Palm Beach Boulevard

Margate, Florida – Three people who were killed in a traffic collision involving a silver Honda, a white BMW, and a black Toyota Camry at an intersection in Margate late Tuesday night have been identified.

Authorities identified the victim as 24-year-old Brayan Steven Wilches, 48-year-old Diana Nino, and 27-year-old Nancy Sanchez. Authorities said the driver of the Honda – Brayan Wilches – and his rear-seat passenger – Diana Nino – were pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez, who was in the Honda’s front seat was rushed to Broward Health North where she was pronounced dead.

Margate, Florida – The authorities are investigating a deadly traffic collision that left three people dead and three others injured at an intersection in Margate late Tuesday night.

The chain reaction occurred at about 11:55 p.m. on January 14, 2025, at the intersection of Rock Island Road and Royal Palm Beach Boulevard.

An initial investigation revealed that a white BMW was traveling southbound on Rock Island Road when it collided with a silver Honda Accord that was traveling east on Royal Palm Boulevard.

The impact of the collision pushed the BMW into a black Toyota Camry on Rock Island Road, according to the police.

The driver of the Honda and a rear-seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.  A front seat passenger was taken to Broward Health North where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.

The driver of the BMW and his passenger were taken to Broward Health North. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries while the passenger had serious injuries.  

Margate Fire Rescue medics treated the diver of the Camry for minor injuries at the scene.

The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation.
