2 Adults Severely Burned in Sun City Car Crash

Sun City (March 12 , 2015) – Two adults were pulled from a burning car on Saturday after their vehicle lost control and hit a guard rail head-on. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed both victims to be 21 years old. In addition, the Sun City car crash took place on March 10th around 3:30 p.m. at Cameo Drive and 99th Avenue.

Both suffered injuries due to the vehicle colliding with the guardrail and then severe burns from the car fire. After the fire department extricated the victims from the car, emergency crew members airlifted them to Maricopa County Medical Center.

MCSO concluded that it was a single-vehicle crash. Investigators are still looking into what could have caused the driver to lose control including possible impairment.
