Lerner and Rowe Gives Back, the non-profit foundation of the Lerner and Rowe law offices, has partnered with the National Football Foundations Valley of the Sun Chapter. Kevin Rowe, managing partner at the Lerner and Rowe law offices and founder of Lerner and Rowe Gives Back, serves as a board member for the local chapter of the football foundation.

What does the Valley of the Sun Chapter Do?

The NFF Valley of the Sun Chapter places great emphasis on education as it relates to effective, sports-based programming. “Making athletics better for kids, and making kids better through athletics,”- Valley of the Sun Chapter motto. They put their motto into action through the collaborative partnerships with other groups equally committed to promoting amateur football in Arizona. They strive to recognize academic and also, athletic achievements. Their combined efforts result in a greater impact and a higher level of success among students. For the past 30 years, their Scholar-Athlete Awards Program has been their signature event; they honor Arizona college and high school football players for their athletic, academic, and also, leadership accomplishments. The fund was created by the National Football Foundations Valley of the Sun Chapter’s Board of Director; specifically to fund annual scholarships. Selected local seniors receive scholarships based on their academic achievements. The board’s goal is to raise $100,000 or more to fund annual scholarship fund.
