Man Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Accident
Phoenix, Arizona (April 8, 2018) – A pedestrian lost his life Saturday evening due to a hit-and-run crash in Phoenix. The April 7th fatal accident took place near the intersection of 16th Street and Highland Avenue. According to a Phoenix Police report, the passenger died at the crash scene as a result of life-threatening injuries. The at-fault driver fled.
After the accident, drivers used alternative routes for travel due to the shut down of Highland Avenue eastbound to State Road 51. Police continued to search for the missing driver involved in the crash. Investigations continue.
