As a part of our partnership with the Crossroads Chamber, our team participated in Junior Achievement’s JA Chambertown.
This event brought together almost 2,000 eighth-grade students as a culmination of a financial literacy course. At the start, students were assigned a career and a monthly income.
Next, they moved through a mock “town” where each station consisted of an item needed to be included in their monthly budget. This experience taught each student to think deeper about how they spend their income and be cautious about debt.
Lerner & Rowe happily participated to help guide some of our future leaders in Northwest Indiana through important decision making!
