2 Pedestrians Killed in 2 Weekend Crashes

Phoenix, AZ (May 14, 2018)- This weekend was deadly for those walking around the city. 2 pedestrians were struck by vehicles in two separate incidents. Martin Jones, 52, and Clifford Yazzie, 46 both died after being hit by vehicles.

Martin Jones was walking across a street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a SUV. Authorities suspect the driver of the SUV of impairment.

Clifford Yazzie

Clifford Yazzie died after being struck by a car after either walking into a street or stumbling into the roadway. Authorities stated that the driver remained at the scene; they showed no signs of impairment.
