Infant Died, Man Suffers Serious Injuries from Tucson Car Crash

Tucson, Arizona (April 11, 2018) –  Around 4 p.m. in the afternoon a Tucson traffic accident ended in tragedy.  A man experienced serious injuries and an infant killed after another vehicle t-boned their car on South Mission Road. Both man and infant ended up thrown from the car.

Emergency responders took the man and the infant to Banner-University Medical Center. After arrival, the baby was declared dead at the hospital and the driver was in critical condition.

The second vehicle caught on fire after the accident. The teen driver of that vehicle refused medical care. He stated that his parents signed off on his decisions.

Motorists received instructions to avoid the area as Mission remained closed from Irvington Road to Via Ingresso, the south of West Ajo Way.
