Phoenix (May 30, 2018) – A deadly Phoenix collision killed one person on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018.
Officials stated one driver crossed the median into oncoming traffic.
Paramedics pronounced the wrong-way driver dead at the scene. They transported the second driver to the hospital. The second driver sustained serious injuries.
The head-on crash occurred near 43rd Ave and Thomas Road. Officials closed both lanes on Virginia to Thomas until approximately 6am.
