Car kills 17-year-old, David Rosales, crossing near 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird

Phoenix, AZ (May 26, 2018)- Friday evening resulted in tragedy for 17-year-old, David Rosales. He was killed by a car in Phoenix around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities responded to reports of an incident around Thunderbird Road and 43rd Avenue. According to the local authorities, David Rosales was walking Thunderbird Road, around the middle of the block, when a car struck him while travelling east.

According to a local police spokesman, Rosales was taken to the hospital where he unfortunately died.

Impairment does not appear to be a factor and the driver remained at the scene.
