Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident, Sean Michael Yacks suspected

Tucson, AZ (July 15th, 2018)- A fatal hit-and-run accident on Tucson’s east side now has a suspect, according to the Tucson Police. An arrest warrant has been issued for 30 years-old Sean Michael Yacks, on charges of fleeing the scene of a crash and manslaughter.

Tucson police remain on the hunt for Sean Michael Yacks, who is 5’10”, 170 pounds with brown/blonde hair and blue eyes. Yacks has several distinctive tattoos, including “AZ” on the center back of his neck, “9-29-11” on his left wrist and a mural on his right leg.

Police warn that he is considered armed and dangerous. They advise if you see him or have information on his whereabouts to not approach and call 911 immediately. Previous records from the Arizona Department of Corrections, Sean Michael Yacks served a five-year sentence for aggravated assault connected to a 2004 incident. He was also set to have a hearing on a drug case July 24th.

Our hearts go out to the victims of this tragic accident. Fundraisers have been set up for Meghan Clevenger, 20 and Angel Vega, 20 who died in the crash at the intersection of Speedway and Wilmot.
