Carroll County, IL. – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that left at least one other person injured near Thompson in Carroll County on Monday afternoon.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Route 84 at around 1:53 p.m.
76-year-old Richard Ryan, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, was riding his motorcycle south on Route 84 when he collided with a truck driven by 28-year-old David Jensen, of River Falls, Wisconsin.
Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jensen was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
