Man Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Collision on Camelback Road 

Phoenix, Arizona (April 3, 2018) A middle-aged man died from injuries after a vehicle struck him Monday night in Phoenix. The pedestrian accident in Phoenix occurred just before midnight, April 2 near Camelback Road and Central Avenue.

According to the police, the man, believed to be in his late 40s to early 50s, crossed outside of a crosswalk near Camelback Road when an eastbound vehicle struck him. Most noteworthy, the at-fault driver allegedly fled the scene.

Eastbound traffic on Camelback Road consequently shut down between Central Avenue and Third Avenue as authorities investigated the crash. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
