Tucson, AZ (May 8, 2018)- Westbound Tanque Verde at Catalina Highway was closed due to a crash involving multiple vehicles according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
A sheriff’s department vehicle was part of the crash, and the crash also caused minor injuries to some, according to the PCSD.
The PCSD Traffic Unit and Tucson Police Department responded to the scene.
Drivers were requested to avoid the area and explore alternative routes. The road reopened hours later.
