Tempe, AZ (April 26, 2018) – A woman in a wheelchair died after being struck by a car in a Tempe car crash. Paramedics transported her to the hospital where she died of her injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Police report that alcohol and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The accident occurred near Southern Avenue and Rural Road on Thursday, April 26th. Officials shut down Northbound Rural Road for several hours. It has since reopened.
