Children First Academy receives $2,500 donation from Lerner and Rowe

Smiles and laughter filled the afternoon when the law offices of Lerner and Rowe presented a $2,500 check to Children First Academy. The check was in support of the annual Mix 96.9 FM Back to School Tools benefit drive.  Monies raised during the drive are used to purchase critically needed items for students and educators of the school. See more photos on our Lerner and Rowe Facebook page.

We wish the students, educators and support staff a great 2013 school year!

More about Children First Academy

100% of the students who attend this academy are at the poverty line and more than half are homeless. Established in 2008, this school educates and serves at-risk youth grades K-8 by providing clothes, food items, daily grooming items, school supplies and also, an opportunity for a steady education in their oftentimes transient lives. The academy has plans to eventually grow to a K-12 grade school. Annual benefit drives and donations from local community groups and businesses can help make this dream a reality.  Find more information about the academy and donation opportunities at www.cfaphoenix.org. You can also contact us for more info.
