Tucson, AZ – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Tucson has been identified as 59-year-old William Glenn Gonzales.

Police said William Gonzales was hit by a Dodge Charger in the 3500 block of South Kino Parkway. According to the police, Gonzales was trying to cross Kino when he was hit by the Dodge. He was then struck by at least one other vehicle.

Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-year-old driver initially left the scene but later returned and cooperated with investigators.
