Stevens County, WA. – A man was hospitalized after being injured in a bicycle accident in Stevens County on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on SR-231, near milepost 50, according to Washington State Patrol.
The 53-year-old man was riding a bicycle along the southbound shoulder and was reportedly attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Malibu.
The man was injured in the collision and was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
