Yuma, AZ – Two people were killed in a collision at the intersection in Yuma on Sunday afternoon, according to the Yuma Police Department.
The wreck occurred on E. 32nd Street and Avenue 6E at about 2:30 p.m. on April 13.
A 32-year-old woman was reportedly driving a 2016 Ford Explorer west on 32nd Street when she tried to make a left onto Avenue 6E and collided with a 2015 Nissan Rogue traveling east on 32nd Street.
The Ford driver and an 18-month-old boy in her car were both transported to Onvida Health with minor injuries.
The other driver, a 71-year-old man, and his passenger, a 69-year-old woman, were transported to Onvida and were later pronounced deceased.
The Yuma Police Department is investigating the accident.
