Osceola County, FL – A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle car accident in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident happened around 4:27 a.m., May 25, on State Road 429 near Western Way at Mile Marker 8.
FHP said the woman was driving a 2016 Volkswagen Passat southbound in the inside lane of the highway when she lost control of the car, ran off the roadway, and hit a guardrail.
The woman was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
No other information was available.
The accident remains under investigation.
