Jatinder Singh killed in early Tuesday Crash on Arizona Highway

Flagstaff, AZ (July 19, 2018)- Jatinder Singh, Ontario County local, was killed early Tuesday morning on a highway in Arizona.

Jatinder Singh, 23, was travelling easterly in a rig on I-40 around Flagstaff around 3:30 in the morning and started drifting towards the left. According to DPS spokesperson Bart Graves, he then over-corrected, rolling a tractor-trailer onto its side.

Emergency officials pronounced Singh dead at the scene.

Singh’s truck also took out roughly 200 feet of guardrail. The passenger in the truck, a Fresno, California resident, survived and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

This semi-truck rollover and another unfortunate crash in the area caused traffic back-ups around Flagstaff for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
