A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning shortly after 8 a.m. at 3000 E. Valencia Road near South Country Club Road after crashing into the side of a garbage truck.
Witnesses say that the motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic and traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say that speed was a factor of the accident.
This motorcycle accident is the 14th fatality in Tucson this year.
