Pedestrians, Kelly and Sadie Kehinde Injured After 2 Car Crash

Mesa, AZ (May 31, 2018)- On May 19, 2018, just a little before 8 a.m., the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a crash near Broadway and Ellsworth roads where two pedestrians, Kelly and Sadie Kehinde, were injured.

A SUV was travelling south on Ellsworth Road when it crashed into another SUV that was turning left onto Broadway Road from Ellsworth. Unfortunately, the crash also affected 2 pedestrians waiting to cross the street. One of the vehicles was sent onto the curb due to the impact of the crash.

Kelly and Sadie Kehinde were injured from the accident. Kelly had a torn rotator cuff and bruises. Sadie remained hospitalized for several days but was released. She currently isn’t walking, but the family remains optimistic and doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
